Upload select subtitles to OpenSubtitles

First, thanks for all the work on Bazarr, it saved me a lot of hours organizing my library and trying to find the correct subtitles for some shows.

There are some shows for which I cannot find the correct subtitles on the subtitle providers. This is particularly true for some obscure languages. However, some torrent releases pack with them subtitles in a lot of languages. For instance, I found Spanish SRT subtitles for a show in a torrent that weren't on any provider. So, I semi-manually included them in my library.

Thing is, I would love to be able to share these subtitles with the community, so that they don't have to go through the pain of downloading a torrent just for the subtitles. I'm more than happy to upload one or two files to OpenSubtitles, but when it's a show with 100+ episodes, that quickly becomes a chore - especially since it doesn't seem like you can batch upload subtitles to OpenSubtitles before reaching a certain amount of uploads.

Hence my idea: to be able to automatically upload subtitles to OpenSubtitles by adding an option in the contextual menu when hovering a subtitle language. It can just be one by one at first to comply with OpenSubtitles' API - also the interface makes it perfect before each show is already related to its IMDB ID, and through the release all of the required fields (release name, FPS, etc.) can be automatically filled.

I'm aware that what I'm offering here is definitely not a core feature - but I'm convinced this could help the overall community in the long run.

Subtitles are provided through HTML pages and downloaded as ZIP files. Downloads can be for a single episode or for an entire season.

Right now if I have a TV show with many episodes all needing subtitles downloaded, Bazarr will queue and download them for each episode one by one, and after each episode is processed a sync call is made to Sonarr which results in Sonarr running a refresh/disk scan on the entire series. This is a ton of extra overhead. If a task would result in multiple episodes of a series to be processed, it would be better to batch them all and only make a single sync call to Sonarr once all subtitles are processed. I imagine a lot of provider calls could also be made more efficient by doing single searches for an entire series name and parsing the results for individual episodes rather than running the full query pipeline on a per-episode basis.

[Feature Request] Enable Column Sorting in the "Wanted" (Missing Subtitles) View

Description:
Currently, the table in the "Wanted" section (specifically the Episodes and Movies sub-tabs) does not support column sorting. Clicking on headers like "Name", "Episode", or "Language" does nothing, leaving the list in a fixed order.

Why is this needed:
As the library grows, the "Wanted" list can easily contain dozens or hundreds of missing subtitles. Without sorting functionality, it is difficult to:

Group series together: Users cannot visually aggregate all missing episodes from the same show without using the search bar every time.

Prioritize management: It’s hard to quickly see which shows have the most backlog or sort by episode numbers to check for chronological gaps.

UI Consistency: Most other tables in Bazarr (like the Series list) already support sorting. Adding this to the "Wanted" view would provide a much more consistent and professional user experience.

Currently the provider search in Bazarr only matches the provider name.
It would be useful if the search also matched the provider description.

Example:
Typing BG or Bulgarian should show providers that mention Bulgarian subtitles in their description, even if the provider name itself does not contain those words.

Suggested behavior:
Search should look for both provider name and provider description
Case-insensitive partial matching is sufficient.

This would make it easier to find language-specific subtitle providers in the long provider list. Example attached.

As someone who hates bad subtitles what I want to do is something like:
- Download from OpenSubtitles if score is >= 95% (Even a 92% match can be off by ~30 seconds even after syncing)
- Fallback to Whisper for AI generated, perfectly timed subtitles if nothing else matches

This is impossible because for whatever reason Whisper is scored as a static 69% score so having a sane threshold just blocks whisper outright.

One low effort solution is to allow the user to provide Whisper a custom, static score for all whisper generated subtitles so users can set whisper to the lowest acceptable score for them.
This way one could define both OpenSubtitles and Whisper as providers, set the threshold to whatever suits their tolerance
And whisper can be a proper fallback option

In my case I would do this:
- Minimum score is 94%
- Configure both OpenSubtitles and Whisper as providers
- Set Whisper to static 94% score, so anything > 94% from OpenSubtitles is preferred
- Whisper generates the rest

[Feature Request] Match audio track language to subtitle language during synchronization (ffsubsync)

When attempting to synchronize a subtitle using the Audio Track as a reference, Bazarr currently defaults to extracting and using the first audio track (Track 1). This completely breaks the synchronization process for dual-audio files where Track 1 is a dubbed language (e.g., German) and Track 2 is the original language (e.g., English). When trying to sync an English subtitle, Bazarr maps the English text to the German audio track, resulting in a failed or wildly inaccurate sync.

Since Bazarr already correctly identifies the languages of the audio streams (via Sonarr/Radarr metadata or Deep Analysis), it would be incredibly helpful if the synchronization logic could automatically pass the audio track that matches the target subtitle language to ffsubsync.

Alternatively, adding a setting under Settings -> Subtitles -> Synchronization that allows users to define a "Preferred Audio Sync Language" (similar to preferred subtitle languages) would solve this.

Everyone with large libraries will know they have large libraries and will know to tick a box or consult docs if they are experiencing high usage. I didnt realize I could turn down tasks without having detrimental effects as the defaults are sane for people with normal sized libraries.

Basically what I am suggesting is either add a section on the docs with the title "High CPU usage mitigation" or a tickbox in settings (or tooltip with a link to the wiki) because as a user I didnt know what was critical to keep running frequently or not.
Hello Bazarr team,

I would like to request official support for Windows package managers to facilitate the installation and maintenance of Bazarr. Specifically, it would be great to have packages available for:

- **Scoop**
- **Winget**
- **Chocolatey**

**Context:**
I tried searching for existing packages, but I only found an old, unofficial repository for Winget from 2022. It appears to be abandoned and does not correspond to the current version of Bazarr.

**Benefits & Examples:**
Having official support for these services (especially Scoop) would streamline the user experience significantly. Instead of manually downloading installers, users could install and **update** Bazarr with a single command line.

For example, installation would be as easy as running:

```powershell
# Scoop
scoop install bazarr
# Winget
winget install Bazarr
# Chocolatey
Hi morpheus. The latest update hasn't caused any problems so far. However, I've encountered a small issue. First of all, if I want to manually search for a subtitle, unfortunately, it's sometimes impossible because the Running processes are executed first. Let's say there's a particularly long series with many episodes/seasons. I have to wait for that before proceeding with the manual search I performed. I think it's best to set everything manually to take priority. Secondly, it would be great if Pending operations could be cancelled, perhaps even via the new notification system you've created.
An option to include/exclude files from being detected as subtitles would be nice. This could be done by e.g. setting RegEx patterns.
Example
Include RegEx: (?i).*srt$
Setting this pattern would configure Bazarr to only read files that end in ".srt" from filesystem when scanning for existing subtitles on disk (e.g. when task "Index All Episode Subtitles from Disk" is run). A file ending in ".ass" however would not count / be ignored.
Use Case
I use 2 Bazarr instances. One is used to extract subtitles in original format if it is ".ass" or ".ssa" ("Use Original Format" toggle enabled in language profile). The second instance always extracts as ".srt" (toggle disabled). I do this to have subtitles in different formats for compatibility of different clients. Some can display ".ass" or ".ssa" just fine, but some can only display ".srt" correctly.
Problem
The above currently does not work reliably because the instances also scan and count subtitles of one another.
And currently I can only set whether I want embedded subtitles to get extracted at the Bazarr instance level. If I have i.e. a series where the first season has embedded normal subtitles and the second with only ones with HI tags, my only option is to extract all of them, which is waste of resources and time in case of the normal subitles.
Description
Bazarr currently shows snackbar notifications at the bottom of the UI for actions like syncing, downloading subtitles, or updates. While useful, they can be disruptive: they overlap movie/series lists, do not stack properly, and block key elements until dismissed.
A settings option would greatly improve usability, allowing users to:
- Disable snackbars completely,
- Make them less intrusive (smaller, auto-dismiss, or stack correctly), or
- Ability to change the width of the menu bar so notifications don’t hide important content.
This would give users a cleaner, less obstructive UI while still keeping access to logs for detailed feedback.
