Smart dynamic throttle timers

Instead of using fixed throttle time intervals, maybe consider making a fancy dynamic throttle time that will higher up the value on every cycle it hits the same exception until a max value has been reached (6 hours?)
Starting with:1 minute then 2 minutes, 4 minutes...
Usecase: Sometimes a small hickup will trigger a very high waiting interval. If you make it more dynamic it will speed up the searching process for good subs :)
