Auto translate using DeepL (ai assisted translate)

Currently the translate feature is using this module with google translate (which is unfortunately currently broken with Chinese)

As we all know google translate can be hit and miss, in recent years however, there has been big improvements with ai translation. There’s a good accurate ai translator called DeepL available for free (mostly).

The good news is the module we are currently using already supports DeepL.

The free API access to DeepL allows for 500,000 characters of translation per month. Which is a fair few movies per month. (Bee Movie has 64000 characters).

I feel like these translations could help a lot of people access films they previously couldn’t. Having 6-7 well translated subs per month could be hugely helpful.

Yes, and DeepL is probably outclassed now by GPT-4Turbo and Gemini 1.0/1.5 Pro and Ultra. Here's a project that has a similar subtitle translation functionality built in for those LLMs: github.com/machinewrapped/gpt-subtrans/issues/118

I hope that there will be more Google Translate alternative in the future. Deepl and GPT-4 would be great.
