  Yes I 100% support this feature. I've tested alass against ffsubsync and it beats it in every scenario. I even used it with subtitles that are not in english and it still worked great.

  It's blazing fast, easy to integrate, written in rust, portable even on linux...
  ...and it is trully language agnostic (i've been using it for pt-br with stunning accuracy), the dev received his bachelor degree presenting a thesys on how this can be achieved by an algorythm
